FAQs

Practical answers to the questions teams usually ask before they trust the workflow.

The recurring concerns are usually about readiness, evidence, exports, and whether the product helps you answer truthfully rather than pretending everything is already perfect.

Questions

Checklist states

What does “Blocked now” mean?

This part of the workspace still needs an answer or a safer mapping before you can rely on it for customer responses.

What does “Strengthen next” mean?

The baseline answer exists, but the evidence or review quality still needs work before it feels dependable.

What does “Healthy for now” mean?

The current answer and supporting material are strong enough for the current stage, so it is not the best place to spend time next.

Questions

Evidence and answers

What counts as evidence?

Use anything you would confidently show a buyer or reviewer to back the answer: policies, reports, spreadsheets, logs, or internal records.

Do I need evidence for every answer?

Not always. The product should make it clear when an answer is usable now, when evidence would make it stronger, and when the item is still blocked.

Questions

Exports and customer requests

Can I export before every question is perfect?

Yes, but only when there is at least one reviewed, exportable answer in place and the request state is honest about what still needs review.

What if something is genuinely not in place yet?

That is allowed. Vertapass is designed to help you answer truthfully and defensibly, not to force false completeness.

If the real question is “will this help us respond calmly and truthfully?”, the best next step is to test it with a live request.

Start with the assessment, then bring one real buyer request into the workspace and judge the review path from there.
