Manufacturers usually hold more usable evidence than they expect. Energy bills and meter records, waste transfer notes, health and safety policies and incident logs, environmental policies, and any supplier or subcontractor standards you apply are the documents buyers ask about most. Gathering these before you start answering makes the difference between a response built on records and one built on recollection.

Production data is often collected for operational reasons rather than reporting, so gaps and estimates are normal. If a figure is based on partial metering, a single site, or a typical-month extrapolation, say so in the answer. Buyers in manufacturing supply chains generally prefer a caveated honest number over a clean-looking one that cannot be substantiated at audit.

Expect follow-up on energy and emissions (often split by site), waste handling and licensed carriers, machine and worker safety records, and how you control your own suppliers. If you subcontract processes such as finishing or logistics, be ready to say what you know about those partners and what you have not yet assessed.
